Phillipe Witana

Phillipe Witana

As part of a new age in dancers and choreographers, Phillipe has trained internationally through Europe and the US.  He has assisted in numerous hip hop workshops hosted by international dance companies.  He has first hand training at Millennium dance complex, Debbie Reynolds and the Edge dance studios in Los Angeles as well as the Broadway dance centre in New York.  He has had the privilege of dancing for some of Australia's finest artists such as Ricki-Lee Coulter, Jade Mcrae, Shaneal, and many guest appearances on national television programs.  As well as making Australia's top 40 in 2009 and the Chanel 10 hit show "So you think you can dance".

With his unique hip hop style, smooth moves, and funky choreography, Phillipe is now stating his name in amongst Australia's best........

Jess

Jessica Hesketh

Jessica Hesketh has been studying full-time Classical Ballet and Contemporary Dance for the past 5 years.  She attended Brent Street Studios’ Talent Development High School from years 9 to 12 and graduated from Ev and Bow Full-time Dance Training Centre in 2009.  

Jessica has trained in New York with the Alvin Ailey School and has participated in numerous Secondments with leading Australian Dance Companies including Sydney Dance Company, Tasdance and the Australian Dance Theatre.  Jessica has worked with prominent Australian choreographers including Gary Stewart, Larissa McGowen, Stephen Page, Anton, Emma Sandall and Tim O’Donnell (Ludwig). She has worked in a dance film for Victoria Chui which was entered in the Reel Dance Film Festival, participated in ‘Short, Sweet and Dance’ Sydney Choreographic Showcase for Paulina Quinteros and performed in the Toni&Guy Hair Show as a featured Ballerina at the Sydney Convention Centre.

Alongside her contemporary work Jessica was runner up in this year’s series of Network Ten’s So You Think You Can Dance.  Jessica has also participated in professional commercial work such as dancing at the MTV Awards, Performing on Channel Nine’s Kerri-Ann Kennerly Show and dancing on Bahamas Caribbean Cruise.  Jessica finds fulfilment with the collaboration and creative processes that is Contemporary Dance.
